Mendenhall Elementary

60% of Mendenhall’s students are economically disadvantaged. 54% have limited English proficiency. And 13% have special education needs. Chase Oaks Church now sends church members there weekly as mentors, lunch buddies, and library volunteers. The church also helps with Meet the Teacher Night, staff appreciation, TAKS Test snacks, the Spring Carnival, some dental and medical assistance, and more.
